...I announced my reading plans for the year. I'm proud and relieved to report that the only one of the books I mentioned in this post that's still on my book shelf waiting to be read is The Portable James Joyce, which contains the full text of A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man. As I'm sure I've said before, owning unread books isn't a fun experience for me, and it's good to know that it hasn't taken me over five years to get any recreational reading off of my shelves.
...I wrote about the adaptation of The Magicians. Despite hearing really good things about this show, I haven't ended up watching it yet. I find it kind of amusing how people either really hate or really love this book, but the show seems to have a less polarizing effect. Apparently the show just wrapped up its fifth and final season.
...I was distracted. It seems like my second ever staycation may be in the cards for this summer, for totally different reasons.
